Michael V. Harding brings over forty years of experience in nonpoint source pollution control both in the United States and overseas to Forester University. As a graduate from Purdue University and currently an independent environmental consultant in San Diego, CA, Harding is one of the leading technical experts in the field of erosion and sediment control, in particular, post-fire hazard assessment and remediation. Harding designed and supervised the construction of the San Diego State University Soil Erosion Research Laboratory and was its Director from 1999-2002. Harding is a three-time past president of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) and former Chief of Council for the IECA’s International Regional Council.
